It just really sucked to always feel like ur going to get banned any second and the support will just ignore you like they do with a lot of nsfw blogs. Now theres an actual reason to expand to other platforms u know o:

Tumbler isn't shutting down nsfw content. Its just a bunch of people misinformed about what happend. As you are aware, tumbler is pissed that the Apple app store removed them due to inappropriate content (mainly porn bots. A lot of em) so they sent there own bot to stamp out the bots, but rushed it causing the purge as we knew a few days ago. Though yes a lot of artists were banned, the bot thought of them as a bot and at the same time breaking tag links.

Doesn’t matter it’s been years of abuse from tumblr and I’m not willing to forgive them for their complete ignorance anymore.

I’m going to concentrate more on other platforms now but still post things there while i can.

Whelp, so much for NSFW.

After finding out that explicit blogs were no longer appearing in the master search, I checked both the blog specific searches and tags.

Neither work.

If you click any of the tags below my post you get nothing.  If you try to search my site itself for specific content you also get nothing.

NSFW is basically now invisible on tumblr.

The only way you can find a blog is to either get linked from somewhere else, or see a reblog already on your dash, but even then any NSFW artist that uses tags is basically wasting time as the tags will not allow anyone to search your content.  You basically become a dashboard feed to your followers with no search or tag potential, and that’s it.
